Shelby Swartz ’26

2024 Baker-Simpson & Silicon Valley Fellow

Shelby Swartz (Candor, NY) is double majoring in biology and psychology. Shelby is a student athlete on the women’s volleyball team, the Vice- President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a HEART Peer Counselor. Shelby also volunteers her time as a campus captain for The Hidden Opponent, a national non-profit organization working to end the stigma surrounding student-athlete mental health. With this internship experience, Shelby hopes to work with local non-profit organizations to bring more awareness to mental health and how it corresponds to physical well-being.
