I chose Hartwick College because it made me feel free. After taking a tour of Hartwick, I felt like I could pursue my degree without any restraints, like anything I ever wanted to do could be made possible.

Hartwick College offers students many networking opportunities including meeting alumni.  I’ve made a connection with is Rob Carpenter ’88. He is currently the CEO of Baltimore-Washington Financial Advisors. I met him during a Career Hop Exploration to his company. I learned about his career and was inspired to apply for an internship at his company.

One of my favorite professors on campus is Professor of Economics, Dr. Kristin Jones. She has helped me explore a multitude of different career options and has taught me very important lessons. She taught me to say “no,” and she taught me the value of my time and hard work. I will forever be grateful to have met such an amazing professor.
