I chose Hartwick for the diverse opportunities it offers. From various music ensembles and athletics to study abroad experiences, paired with a high-quality education. As a prospective student, this blend of academics and extracurriculars was very appealing, and my time here has only deepened my appreciation for these experiences.

I spent the 2023 Fall Semester studying at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. During this time, I took classes, made new friends, and traveled extensively (within and outside of Switzerland). This experience taught me a significant amount about myself and greatly helped me develop my interpersonal skills. The skills and experiences gained from study abroad have enabled me to become a stronger student and member of the Hartwick community.

As an outdoor leader I have had the opportunity to involve students in spending time outdoors and learning land stewardship. It had been extremely rewarding to be part of the development and continued improvement of Hartwick’s Table Rock Trail system.
