“We love Coach Dale,” said Mike Shultz ‘24. “Hartwick’s swim teams have always been a community, and we show that by running to remember Lucas and raise awareness about substance abuse disorders.”
Undersea Research to Area Youth
Over the summer, Carr continued a deep-sea research project initially undertaken in 2019, when she and one of her undergraduate students were studying the existence of microbes in the deep waters off the coast of Washington State.

Cuyle Carvin ‘03 knows that, as the old saying goes, there’s no place like home.
“Oneonta is such a beautiful place to film,” said the writer, actor and director. “We have so many different locations, so we can really broaden the scope of our scripts, and that adds a lot of production value, which is invaluable for low-budget filmmaking.”
