New Hawks Billing Checklist
Review this checklist to make sure you have completed each item associated with your bill and student health insurance coverage.
Activate your Nelnet billing account and invite payers to have access to your billing account.
Billing statements are generated on 7/15/2024 and are due by 8/5/2024.
Complete and Return the Responsibility Form
All students that attend Hartwick College are required to have a completed Financial Responsibility Form on file. This is mandatory for all incoming students.
Complete Required Insurance Information and Elections for Student Health Insurance
All students are automatically enrolled in the Hartwick College Health Insurance unless proof of U.S. based coverage is provided. The submission of this form is mandatory and must be completed on an annual basis. Deadline to waive is 8/28/2024.
Review Tuition Protection Insurance
You will be automatically enrolled in the Tuition Protection Insurance with A.W.G Dewar but, have the option of opting out of the plan by waiving the coverage at the link above. You can waive coverage up until the first day of classes.
Review and arrange payment for your Hartwick billing statement.
Fall statements will be released by July 15 and are due August 5. Validate the status of all outside funding (including scholarships, alternative loans, 529 plans, VA Benefits, and other outside support) We continue to offer tuition payment plans. You can enroll directly with Nelnet once the Fall statements are available.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR. The Hawks Book Bundle site opens on July 26, 2024.
All students are charged for the book program in the amount of $360.00/semester. You must take action to opt in or out of the program. You will receive instructions directly from the Barnes and Nobles @ Hartwick Bookstore about this program.
Life Balance Credit
The Life Balance Credit program rewards full-time students who meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) with a $250 credit on their student account for their next semester for actively engaging in activities that promote balance across academic, physical, emotional, and financial wellness. Students can earn $500 per year if they complete this for both semesters.
