ACCREDITATION

Hartwick College is institutionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) with the next evaluation visit scheduled for 2027-28, and the NY State Board of Regents. Individual programs that have specialized accreditation are Art (Natio nal Association of Schools of Art & Design (NASAD), Music (National Association of Schools of Music (NASM)), and Education (Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation-AAQEP). The bachelor of science degree program in chemistry is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS). The baccalaureate nursing program at Hartwick is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education Nursing (CCNE).
