Off-Campus Study Scholarships & Fellowships
Hartwick College is committed to helping students experience the life-changing power of off-campus study.
Scholarships, fellowships, and grants help our students build global and cultural understanding through study abroad. Many Hartwick students experience global perspectives for the first time through these opportunities, and many take advantage of them during their first year. Our alumni say these transformative experiences would not have been possible without the support of fellowships and scholarships from Hartwick.
Emerson and Duffy scholarships assist students who are interested in international internships or research. The Mehri Global Pluralism Fellowship supports students in bringing awareness about the issues of our interdependent world to campus. Freeman Foundation Internship grants provide support for internships in South Korea and Japan. Many other competitive scholarships are available to help Hartwick students experience the world first-hand.
Emerson Scholarships
Fred L. Emerson Foundation International Internship Scholarship provided a $7,000 grant for students to pursue their interests in an international setting.
Duffy Scholarships
The Duffy Family Ambassador Fund Scholarship provides support for sophomore and junior students to undertake independent/directed study abroad. All majors are eligible.
Cyrus Mehri Fellowship
Cyrus Mehri, Esq. ’83 has generously funded this Global Pluralism Fellowship to prepare students to contribute as active, thoughtful citizens to the world of their future.
Freeman Foundation Grants
Freeman Foundation International Internship grants provide students a unique summer opportunity to pursue their career interests in an international setting.
