Pine Lake attempts to model small-scale sustainability efforts that homeowners and others can use in their communities. We would be happy to provide you a tour of our sustainable building projects and ecological design efforts. Speak to any Pine Lake staff member to arrange a tour.

Summer is a busy time at Pine Lake. Several environmental research projects are usually in progress at any given time. Please do not disturb them. A Pine Lake staff member will be happy to explain specific projects if you are interested.

In keeping with the mission of Pine Lake, several programs and activities run concurrently with cabin rentals in the summer. Typically, the summer includes: student residence and research, Hartwick College classes (in June), elementary school environmental education visits (in June), recreational day-use swimming, boating and hiking for members of the Hartwick community, and meetings, weddings, picnics and reunions.

We welcome your feedback on our efforts to improve Pine Lake. We hope you enjoy your stay.
